Congratulations to Jarrad Perron for his recent awards and recognitions! Jarrad Perron is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Ji Hyun Ko. His research excellence was recognized at the Manitoba Student Health Research Forum, where he was awarded the Dean of Graduate Studies Poster Award. Jarrad also received the Best Presenter award at the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Sciences Research Day. Furthermore, he was also selected as a finalist in the University of Manitoba’s 3-Minute Thesis Competition, highlighting his skill in delivering compelling research presentations. Jarrad’s achievements extend to recently receiving the prestigious Canada Graduate Scholarship from NSERC, affirming his potential as a promising emerging researcher in neuroscience.
